Are consultations and formal quotes free?
We offer free ballpark estimates via email, text, or phone. If you’d like a full consultation, including a site visit, detailed design, and a formal quote with a 3D model, then a consultation fee applies.
Why is there a fee for consultations and formal quotes?
Our comprehensive consultations include an on-site meeting, design to scale, a rough 3D model, material planning, labor breakdown, and a formal quote. This process takes an average of 8 hours of behind-the-scenes work, often much more for complex projects. The fee ensures we can deliver the high level of accuracy, detail, and service our clients expect.
How much is the fee for an estimate?
For decks 400 square feet or smaller, the consultation fee is $150. For larger decks or roof structures, we charge $0.40 per square foot, with a maximum of $500.

Do you design architecturally complex decks?
Yes. We regularly build multi-level decks, curved decks, elevated structures, and designs that integrate lighting, privacy elements, or specialized framing. Many of our projects include advanced angles, transitions, or custom details.
